As a busy person myself, I know only too well how busy people will do almost anything to save time or find efficiencies wherever they can.

After all, by the time you’ve finished work there’s little time to do much else and you usually don’t have much motivation either. It’s understandable that people then find themselves in a vicious cycle that ends up in weight gain.

Working lunches, beers after work, client entertainment, eating on the road when choices are limited, stressful jobs, lack of sleep and a hundred other reasons why a busy lifestyle isn’t compatible with getting in shape!

The Day It Dawns On You

It could be seeing your reflection in the mirror, a jibe from some wisecrack in the office or in my case, seeing a picture where I had someone else’s chin stuck to mine!

This is due to the fact that our bodies were designed to survive the conditions of a natural environment and there was a time when nearly all of our food contained water. This makes it of paramount importance to learn to differentiate thirst from hunger.
