Treadmill Desks – Improving Lung Health and Preventing Lung Cancer
Walking a minimum of 10,000 steps a day (achievable in 2.5-3 hours on a treadmill desk) has already been a proven deterrent to our nation’s top three diseases: heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some forms of cancer.
Moderate exercise levels provided by walking have also been shown to improve lung quality and overall fitness but can it even prevent lung cancer? “We now believe physical activity is a primary component of preventing cancer,” says Abby Bloch, chairwoman of the American Cancer Society’s advisory committee on nutrition and physical activity.
A 2007 study presented at the American Association for Cancer Research’s Sixth Annual International Conference on Cancer Prevention illustrated some remarkable findings that hopefully will get you out of your chair and up and walking.
The study found that indeed there is a lower risk of developing lung cancer among physically active individuals. This benefited both men and women, smokers and non smokers

The Complete Book of Butt and Legs by Kurt Brungardt
Author Kurt Brungardt puts forth another great training book. This book contains dozens and dozens of exercises for the butt and thighs. What I like about the butt and thigh routines is that they are not all bulky muscle builders for men. Several of the exercises are designed to chisel a women’s thighs and butts into toned, defined muscles. Just as important as the exercises themselves are the routines and sequences to achieve fast, long lasting results.
The author, Kurt Brungardt, takes the reader through low, medium and high level risk exercises with body weight, weights, machines and the swimming pool. In the back of the book, he introduces routines used by athletes and personal trainers. One in particular, is a combination squat and butt squeeze. Guarantee for a good muscle burn and tone that area in record time.
The other favorite routine that I have successfully used with my female

Read this excellent women\\\’s weight loss story.
This book is a breath of fresh air from the popular women’s fitness books. Where most of the mainstream is preaching eat less and exercise more, Sculpting Her Body Perfect focuses on shaping. Most of the book’s routines will shake a few trees in the fitness world where progress has been more mindless exercise and not the quality of the exercise.

Not pounds or inches, but rather a nicer, prouder form. Schoenfeld describes how a woman can work with her own natural form rather than trying to chase the unattainable (and unreal) Barbie Doll figure. For instance, the stocky woman is not going to have long legs and a waspy waist. Therefore,
